We are conveniently located in Rotary Park - on the headland above Town Beach.
The Observatory is open to the public on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights each week and additional nights in school holidays.
It is also open for special events at other times (check out the “Whats On” tab) and for bookings for schools and other groups. Our facilities can be hired for your special corporate or other event.
Our versatile function space is ideal for private and corporate events, community gatherings, and educational programs. We also welcome schools for tailored tours that inspire the next generation of astronomers.
